Manchester’s fire chief was placed on administrative leave earlier this month. Fire Chief Mike Ryan has been on leave since March 7th, according to City Manager Tim Vick. A report says that the action was taken pending an investigation into a formal complaint the city received. Vick said the action is a personnel matter and that the city won’t be making additional statements at this time. Randy Rattenborg is now serving as acting fire chief.
