A Dubuque woman was sentenced to two to five years of probation for using company credit cards to spend thousands of dollars on unauthorized purchases. 35 year old Jennifer Dazey was given the sentence in Iowa District Court of Dubuque County after previously being found guilty of first-degree theft, second-degree theft, unauthorized use of a credit card over $10,000 and unauthorized use of a credit card over $1,500. Her trial took place in March. Officials at ServPro found numerous discrepancies on several credit cards. The discrepancies were traced to Dazey, a former employee. An investigation determined that six credit cards belonging to ServPro were used to make 756 unauthorized purchases totaling over $44,000 between 2015 and 2020.
