Crash Closes Portion Of Highway 20 Near East Dubuque

A traffic crash early this morning caused a temporary lane closure on U.S. Highway 20 in rural East Dubuque. Jo Daviess County Sheriff’s officials were called to the area of U.S. Highway 20 westbound at North Imbus road about 3:45 a.m. Sheriff’s deputies, EMS and East Dubuque Fire Department crews were dispatched to the scene. U.S. Highway 20 westbound lanes were closed beginning at North Menominee Road with assistance from the Illinois Department of Transportation while crews worked at the scene of the crash. Westbound lanes were reopened about 6:45 a.m.
