Delaware County Man Arrested For Threatening To Destroy Home and Vehicle with a Backhoe

Authorities say a Delaware County man threatened to destroy a home and an occupied vehicle with a backhoe. 34 year old Michael Vanamburg of Ryan was arrested on June 11th at a residence in Ryan on charges of second-offense operating while intoxicated, assault on persons in certain occupations and two counts of assault while displaying a dangerous weapon. A report states that Vanamburg was operating a backhoe and threatening to use it to destroy a house and a vehicle occupied by two people. The people inside the vehicle provided deputies with a video of the incident. Vanamburg assaulted one deputy by punching him in the shoulder.
