Police say one person was injured in a two-vehicle crash in Dubuque on Saturday. 78 year old Jerome Thompson of Colona, Illinois was taken by ambulance to UnityPoint Health-Finley Hospital for treatment of his injuries. According to Dubuque police, Thompson was driving north on U.S. Highway 61/151 at Lake Eleanor Road around 1:30pm Saturday, when a vehicle driven east on Lake Eleanor Road by 57 year old Daniel Kass of Dubuque attempted to cross all four lanes of the highway and struck Thompson’s vehicle. Kass was cited with failure to yield upon entering a highway.
