Authorities say one person was injured in a single-vehicle crash outside of Dyersville. 72 year old James Knapp South Dakota was taken by ambulance to MercyOne Dyersville Medical Center for treatment of his injuries. According to the Delaware County Sheriff’s Department, Knapp was traveling on 325th Avenue south of Floyd Road in rural Dyersville at 5:40 p.m. Dec. 20, but was unaware of a 90-degree turn in the roadway. Knapp’s vehicle left the roadway and struck an embankment.
