Authorities say two people were injured in a crash involving a wrong-way driver on U.S. Highway20 near Dyersville. 69 year old Denise Tinker of Elgin, Iowa, and 26 year old Bailey Douglas of Dyersville, both were taken by ambulance to Regional Medical Center for treatment of their injuries. According to the Delaware County Sheriff’s Department, Tinker was driving west in the eastbound lanes of U.S. Highway 20 west of Dyersville at 7:15 p.m. Monday when she turned north toward 300th Avenue and struck Douglas’ westbound vehicle. Tinker was cited with driving on the wrong side of a two-way highway and failure to yield upon entering a highway.Â
