Woman Assaults Dubuque Officers, Gets Arrested

Police in Dubuque arrested 19 year old Laniga Hannon around 2:30pm Sunday in the area of Main and Jones Streets on charges of assault on persons in certain occupations with intent to injure, assault on persons in certain occupations, second-degree harassment, interference with official acts and providing false identification information as well as a warrant charging probation violation. A report says that Hannon assaulted two Dubuque Police Department officers, injuring one, while being arrested.
