A Dubuque man has been arrested after police said he assaulted a woman in front of their children. 23-year-old Donometris Wynn of Dubuque was arrested at 12:27 a.m. Friday at his residence on charges of second-degree burglary, second-degree criminal mischief, third-degree theft, domestic assault and four counts of child endangerment. Court documents state Dubuque police responded late Thursday for a report of an assault. A woman reported that Wynn had assaulted her in front of their shared children. Documents state that she told officers she drove to Wynn’s residence because he had asked to see the kids. Upon her arrival, Wynn entered her vehicle and sat in the passenger seat. The two began to argue and he began to assault her.
