Construction Project To Close Highway 13 This Summer

A construction project on Highway 13 north of Manchester will shut down part of the highway this summer. The closure will affect the highway beginning just north of Manchester near 191st Street to just south of the Highway 3 turnoff west of Edgewood beginning sometime this summer. Construction will begin shortly after utility crews finish relocating utilities along the route. The portion of the highway is expected to be completely shut down during the construction phase, which is planned to last one construction season. HIghway 13 will get a new concrete surface, wider shoulders, new culverts on county intersections along the route and a revamp of snow-collection areas.
