Police are investigating two recent shootings in Dubuque. The first incident occurred at 5:42 p.m. Monday in the 600 block of Angella Street. According to Dubuque Police Department Lt. Luke Bock police responded for a report of shots fired and found shell casings and damage to two vehicles at the scene. There were no reported injuries. The second incident occurred at 11:50 p.m. Monday in the 50 block of East 26th Street, Bock said. Bock said a subject observed a group of people near a vehicle. When the subject approached, the group fled the scene and someone in the group fired one shot. Investigations into the incidents continue. Police said Monday’s incidents mark the seventh and eighth cases of shots fired with criminal intent in Dubuque this year.
