City officials in Dyersville say the entire city is under a boil order and would remain so until at least Tuesday. In a social media post on the City of Dyersville Facebook page, officials said pressure was lost in the city’s water distribution system because of a water main break, which necessitated the boil order. The post said city water can be used for hand and body washing, but warned against bathing young children and babies. Dyersville residents are also urged to brush teeth with bottled or boiled water and, when possible, use disposable tableware to avoid the need for washing dishes.
