A Dubuque man has been arrested after police say they found over 20 pounds of marijuana and other drugs in his home. 34-year-old Gary Pfeiler was arrested at 6 a.m. Wednesday at the Dubuque Law Enforcement Center on a warrant charging two controlled substance violations and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia. Court documents state investigators with the Dubuque Drug Task Force executed a search warrant on Pfeiler’s home on Feb. 27 as part of an ongoing investigation involving the residence. During the search, documents state officers located several illicit substances in Pfeiler’s closet including 185 grams of cocaine, 12.28 pounds of marijuana, 9.85 pounds of THC wax, 2.85 pounds of THC gummies, 59 boxes of THC cartridges, a digital scale containing cocaine and marijuana residue, and $2,444 in cash. Due to the amount of drugs located, investigators surmised the drugs were for distribution and not personal use.
