East Dubuque Man Sentenced To Prison For Inappropriate Conduct

An East Dubuque man has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for engaging in inappropriate conduct with a minor in Dubuque. 19 year old David Anderson received the sentence in Iowa District Court of Dubuque County after pleading guilty to one count of lascivious acts with a child. According to a report, Anderson repeatedly sexually assaulted a child younger than 13 last year at a residence in Dubuque. The victim also reported being sexually assaulted by 18 year old Kyle Balk of Dubuque. Balk previously was sentenced to 15 years in prison after pleading guilty to charges of third-degree sexual abuse, lascivious acts with a child, purchase/possession of a depiction of a minor in a sex act, tampering with a witness and interference with official acts.
