A Delaware County man has been sentenced to six years in prison for leading law enforcement on a high-speed chase. 35 year old Dallas Selby of Manchester received the sentence Iowa District Court of Delaware County after pleading guilty to charges of eluding and operating while intoxicated. The charges stem from a March 26 chase on U.S. Highway 20. Reports say that Manchester police attempted to stop Selby’s vehicle in Manchester for equipment violations and an active arrest warrant. Selby immediately fled the traffic stop at a high rate of speed and drove on the wrong side of the roadway and ignored traffic control devices while eluding.
