Intoxicated man drove with 4 kids in Dubuque

Police said an intoxicated man drove with four children in his vehicle in Dubuque. 34-year-old Terell R. Thomas of Sauk Village, Ill., was arrested at 8:50 p.m. Tuesday in the 1400 block of Washington Street on charges of operating while intoxicated and four counts of neglect or abandonment of a dependent person. Court documents state that Dubuque police stopped Thomas’ vehicle at approximately 8:15 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of 15th and Washington streets. Thomas showed signs of impairment. He was driving with four children, all under the age of 13.
