Dubuque man sentenced to federal prison for sexual exploitation of children

A Dubuque man has been sentenced to 45 years in federal prison for sexually exploiting children. Evidence presented at a sentencing hearing revealed 35-year-old Justin Paisley and his co-conspirator, John Dixon, acted in a sexual manner with a prepubescent child. From spring of 2022 to May 2024, Paisley and Dixon took photos and videos of a child engaging in a sexual manner, and sent them to one another. On December 18, 2024, Paisley pleaded guilty to sexual exploitation of children and distribution of child pornography. Paisley was sentenced to 45 years in prison Monday. Dixon’s sentencing hearing is set for June 23.
