Dubuque County man killed in Clayton County crash

Authorities said a Dubuque County man was killed in a crash in Clayton County. 70-year-old James Vorwald of Epworth, was pronounced dead at the scene. According to the Clayton County Sheriff’s Department, Vorwald was driving on Highway 13 near Delta Avenue in rural Strawberry Point at about 8:10 p.m. on Oct. 3, when his vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree. Authorities continue to investigate the crash.
