Man arrested in Dubuque for flashing gun from a vehicle

Police said a vehicle passenger flashed a gun at a driver of another vehicle in Dubuque. 21-year-old Marke R. Powell-Moore of Dubuque was arrested at 9:23 p.m. Saturday at Dubuque Law Enforcement Center on a warrant charging assault while displaying a dangerous weapon. Court documents state that a woman was driving west on Loras Boulevard at approximately 4:15 a.m. Sept. 9 when vehicle driving on the wrong side of the road pulled up next to the woman’s vehicle and Powell-Moore displayed a handgun while sitting in the passenger seat of the vehicle. The vehicle with Powell-Moore then drove away. Police used traffic camera footage to identify Powell-Moore as the occupant in the vehicle.
