Los Fabulosos Cadillacs are celebrating 40 years as a band with a tour that stretches across Latin America and the United States. As the group marks the milestone, Sr. Flavio said they are still playing with unusual vitality, framing the anniversary as a moment to honor the road they have traveled and the energy they still bring to the stage.
The band has presented the anniversary run as a look back at a catalog that helped define Latin rock for several generations. The shows revisit songs that pushed their music far beyond Argentina, including the material that turned Matador into a continental hit and helped cement albums like Vasos Vacíos in the band’s history.
Formed in Buenos Aires in 1985, Los Fabulosos Cadillacs built their identity by moving between ska, reggae, rock, salsa, and rap without staying in one lane for long. That mix gave them a sound that kept evolving while still feeling instantly familiar to longtime fans. Four decades later, the anniversary tour works as both a celebration of their past and a clear sign that the band’s reach has not faded.
