Platteville announces ribbon cutting for new aquatic center

The City of Platteville, Platteville Pool Fundraising Committee, and Inspiring Community, Inc. have announced the grand opening and ribbon cutting of the Platteville Family Aquatic Center. The event will take place Tuesday, June 16th from 4:00–7:00 PM. Admission is free for all attendees, and community members will have the opportunity to sign up for annual passes on-site. The celebration will feature sweet treats courtesy of Vesperman’s Ice Cream Truck, with up to 200 free scoops sponsored by Bob Hundhausen-Edward Jones. The Platteville Optimist Club will also be on hand serving complimentary hot dogs for guests of all ages.
