A civil trial has begun in a Dubuque firefighter’s lawsuit. Jami Boss is suing the City of Dubuque and fire chief Rick Steines, alleging sexual harassment, discrimination, and retaliation. Boss filed the lawsuit in September alleging that she suffered years of sexual harassment while working as a firefighter. Tuesday was the opening day of the trial.The trial is expected to run for 10 days.
