A Dubuque firefighter has won a lawsuit she filed against the city and fire chief over claims of sexual harassment and discrimination. A jury in the civil trial reached a verdict Friday in favor of Jami Boss, finding she should be awarded $575-thousand dollars in damages. Boss has worked for the Dubuque Fire Department since 2011 and filed her suit in September 2020 alleging years of sexual harassment. The jury agreed that Boss had suffered from discrimination and sexual harassment on the job.
