Team Of Dreams Event Not Scheduled In Dyersville This Year

An annual event bringing former Major League Baseball players and other celebrities to Dyersville will not be held this year. Organizers of the Team of Dreams event announced Tuesday that the event won’t be scheduled for 2022. The Field of Dreams movie site, however, will host a second MLB game on August 11th featuring the Chicago Cubs and Cincinnati Reds, and Beyond the Game — An Iowa Baseball Experience will be held August 11th and 12th in downtown Dyersville. Team of Dreams organizers are involved in the planning of both of those events.
