A Hillsboro woman is dead after a rollover crash a few miles north of Richland Center. The Richland County Sheriff’s Office reports deputies were called to the intersection of Highway 80 and County Road BR at around 4:20 p.m. on Wednesday. According to investigators, a northbound vehicle left the roadway, struck a tree and came to rest on its side in a marsh. The driver, 68-year-old Kathryn Slaney, was pronounced dead at the scene. The Richland Center Fire Department and Richland County EMS assisted the sheriff’s office.
