A fire has destroyed a northeast Iowa home and injured the home’s owner. Officials were called to a house on Gay Street in Manchester around 7a.m. Thursday. When firefighters got to the scene, crews said the owner, Sandra Duggan, was outside the home. She had minor burns and was taken to Regional Medical Center for treatment. The house is considered a total loss. The cause of the fire is still being investigated. Firefighters from Ryan and Delhi assisted at the scene.
