No injuries were reported from a fire that struck a vintage Dubuque home in the Washington Street neighborhood. The fire was reported at about just before 5pm on Washington Street at a home that featured artificial flowers and American flags on the corner of East 15th and Washington streets which is a side by side duplex. Reports say the heaviest fire damage occurred in the kitchen. 21 firefighters and other department staff were at the scene. Dubuque requested the air trailer from the Farley Fire Department to replenish air tanks used by firefighters. According to a report, property records indicate the structure was built in 1890. A damage estimate for the fire has not been determined.
