A man who led local authorities on a high-speed chase that ended when his vehicle flipped has been sentenced to four years in federal prison. 39 year old Richard Roberts of Chicago, was sentenced in U.S. District Court in Cedar Rapids after previously pleading guilty to distributing crack cocaine near a playground and being a felon in possession of a firearm. He must serve six years of supervised release after his prison term. A report says Roberts admitted selling about a half-gram of crack to a confidential informant on January 26 near Jefferson Park in Dubuque.
