Gas Prices High In Iowa, Even Higher in Illinois

Gas prices remain high across the country and in Iowa. According to AAA, gas prices are hovering around the $4 mark. Gas is currently $3.81 a gallon in Iowa City, $3.91 in Cedar Rapids, $3.97 in the Waterloo/ Cedar Falls area and $4.09 in Dubuque. Still, Iowa has some of the lowest gas prices in the country right now according to Gas Buddy.com. Cross the state line into Illinois and you’ll see some of the highest gas prices. In Illinois, they’re averaging $4.54 a gallon.
