Two people were arrested in Benton after a domestic dispute. The Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department reports deputies were called around 5 p.m. Thursday to an address on County Highway W. Following an investigation, 57-year-old Ronald Leifker Sr. of Hazel Green was arrested for aggravated battery and was taken to the Lafayette County Jail where he remains in custody. Also, 35-year-old Mallissa Miller of East Dubuque was arrested on a warrant out of Jo Daviess County. She was taken to the Lafayette County Jail and remains in custody as well.
