Fatal Accident On Grounds Of Roosevelt Middle School in Dubuque

A Dubuque Community School District employee is dead after an accident Wednesday afternoon. Emergency crews were called to Roosevelt Middle School around 1pm. An update from Principal Jeff Johll said that a district buildings and grounds staff member died as a result of the accident. The staff member’s name is not being released at this time. Johll said counseling services will be available at the school today (4/28) for any students or staff needing support.
