Temporary Closure of Asbury Road and Northwest Arterial

A temporary closure of the eastern half of the intersection of the Northwest Arterial and Asbury Road will begin on Tuesday. according to the City of Dubuque, the detour route for eastbound traffic on Asbury west of the arterial will be Radford Road to Pennsylvania Avenue to John F. Kennedy Road. The detour route for westbound traffic on Asbury east of the arterial will be JFK to the arterial to Asbury Road. Southbound traffic on the arterial north of the intersection will be able to turn right onto Asbury to travel west. Eastbound traffic on Asbury west of the intersection can turn right onto the arterial to travel south. Northbound and southbound traffic on the arterial will be maintained. Reconstruction of the intersection is required to be completed before school starts in August.
