Man Arrested for Sexual Assault in Dubuque

58 year old Michael Uhlrich was arrested around 1 pm on Saturday for third-degree sexual abuse/forcible rape. A report says a woman contacted police on Saturday to report a sexual assualt occuring the night before. Traffic camera footage shows Uhlrich approaching an intoxicated woman who was on the ground, picking her up and walking with her on the street. Uhlrich told police he was aware of the woman’s high level of intoxication but said they engaged in consensual sex.
