Sentencing Date Set for Dubuque Man Convicted of Murder

A sentencing date has been set for 61 year old Mark Fishler of Dubuque who was found guilty of first-degree murder on August 16th in the death of 80 year old Berniece Williamson of Dubuque. Fishler is scheduled to be sentenced at the Dubuque County Courthouse on October 14th. A conviction of first-degree murder in Iowa carries a mandatory life sentence without parole.
