Dubuque police on Monday confirmed that they continue to investigate a shooting early Saturday. The incident occurred at about 1:10 a.m. Saturday in the area of West Locust and 17th streets. A report says officers in the downtown area heard what they believed were shots fired. No injuries or property damage was reported. This marks the 10th incident of gunshots fired with criminal intent in Dubuque so far this year. In 2021, a total of 21 such incidents were reported.
