Dubuque School Board Approves Three Year Contract for Amy Hawkins

Dubuque Community Schools Superintendent Amy Hawkins will receive a 3% salary increase for the upcoming school year, which will be her second in the position. At their regular meeting Monday, school board members unanimously approved a three-year rolling contract for Hawkins, which will run from July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2026. A report says from July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024, Hawkins will be paid $231,750 and will receive an additional $15,000 in a retirement account. She then will be paid no less than that amount for the following two years of her contract.
