Police say a Jackson County man threatened on social media to damage branches of a Dubuque-based credit union. 58 year old Michael Trentz of Maquoketa was arrested at 10:45 a.m. Tuesday at the Dubuque Law Enforcement Center on a warrant charging threat of terrorism and violation of a no-contact order. According to a report, Trentz made posts on social media threatening to use a bulldozer to attack DuTrac Community Credit Union locations. Sources say Trentz had been prohibited from visiting the credit union since 2023.
