One Person Killed, Four Injured In Jones County Crash

Authorities say one person was killed and four were injured Thursday when a driver failed to yield to another vehicle at a Jones County intersection. 76 year old Larry Nielson of Anamosa was killed in the crash. 24 year old Jessica Steffen of Dubuque and two unidentified juveniles were taken by ambulance to UnityPoint Health-Finley Hospital for treatment of injuries. 54 year old Jaymis Hoffman also of Dubuque, was taken to UnityPoint Health-Jones Regional Medical Center in Anamosa for treatment. The crash occurred at about 12:45 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of Shaw Road and U.S. Highway 151 near Anamosa.
