A Dubuque man facing a number of charges related to an incident where he reportedly threatened his estranged wife with a knife last year has pled guilty. Reports say that 45-year old Jeremy Newhaus will be sentenced on June 3rd in Dubuque County District Court. Police arrested Newhaus following the incident on September 30th at a residence on Kelly Lane where he allegedly came into the home without permission and then threatened 42-year old Melissa Newhaus with a kitchen knife. Jeremy Neuhaus originally faced six counts including first degree burglary, going armed with intent and child endangerment.
