Dubuque Man Inapproriately Touches Minor, Goes To Prison

A Dubuque man has been sentenced to 180 days in jail for inappropriately touching a minor. 38 year old Brandon Barrios received the sentence in Iowa District Court of Dubuque County after pleading guilty to one count of lascivious conduct with a minor. According to a report, Barrios inappropriately touched a girl under the age of 16 at a Dubuque residence in June. The girl reported the incident to her mother, who knew Barrios and subsequently contacted police. The girl’s mother told police she confronted Barrios about the incident and that he did not deny the interaction occurred.
