Jury selection in the first degree murder trial of an Illinois man charged in the shooting death of another man in Dubuque almost two years ago is scheduled to begin this week. 32-year old Keywani Evans of Freeport is accused of killing Taiwon Jackson Junior in the 17-hundred block of Central Avenue in June of 2022. Evans is also charged with first degree robbery and being a felon with a firearm.
