A Dubuque man has been sentenced to one year of probation for a physical altercation with a police officer. 33-year-old Jarvis Raymond recently received the sentence in Iowa District Court of Dubuque County after pleading guilty to one count of interference with official acts causing bodily injury. The charges stem from a Sept. 30 incident where Raymond mounted the back of an officer and placed the officer in a headlock after disobeying orders to stop.
