A trial date has been set in the criminal case against former Dubuque priest Leo P. Riley. Riley is accused of sexual abuse during his time at Church of the Ressurection in Dubuque. The 68 year old Riley of Port Charlotte, Florida is charged in Iowa District Court of Dubuque County with five counts of second-degree sexual abuse. Riley’s trial is set to begin July 30. A report says that four people have reported that Riley sexually abused them from 1985 to 1986 while he was associate pastor of Church of the Resurrection in Dubuque.
