Two People Injured in Two Vehicle Crash

Authorities said two people were injured in a two-vehicle crash in Dubuque County Saturday, with one person arrested. According to a report, two people were taken to MercyOne Dyersville Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. A release from the Dubuque County Sheriff’s office states that deputies and Cascade Fire Department and Dyersville EMS responded at approximately 4:04 p.m. Saturday to the area of Iowa Highway 136 and Klaren Road for a two-vehicle crash. One driver, 40 year old Lindsay Takes of Manchester, was arrested on charges of third-offense operating while intoxicated and unlawful possession of a prescription drug. Takes also was cited with failure to yield half of the roadway.
