According to Dubuque County Sheriff Joe Kennedy, in-person visits will be suspended starting next week. In a statement by the sheriff’s office, visits scheduled for this week will proceed as planned. However, the department will be closing its visitation lobby beginning Monday, April 6th. The in-person visit suspension will be in place until further notice. Mail can still be sent to inmates, and the sheriff’s office is allowing two free visits via Skype per week. Additional Skype visits will be charged the normal rate.
