Two Dubuque Men Charged With Child Pornography

A pair of Dubuque residents have been charged in federal court with the alleged production and distribution of child pornography. 35 year old Justin Paisley, and 40 year old John Dixon recently were charged in U.S. District Court of Northern Iowa each with one count of conspiracy to sexually exploit a child, one count of sexual exploitation of children, one count of distribution of child pornography and one count of receipt of child pornography. Dixon also received one additional charge of possession of child pornography. A federal indictment states the pair did knowingly and intentionally conspire to induce a minor to engage in a sex act for the purpose of creating explicit imagery “between in or about” September of 2023 and May of 2024. Both Dixon and Paisley shared and received child pornography during that same time frame.
