Dubuque man had nude image of minor on phone

Police said a Dubuque man had a nude image of a female under age 18 on his smartphone. 23-year-old Brandon J. Brenke of Dubuque was arrested at 9:08 p.m. Monday in the 700 block of Providence Street on a warrant charging possession of a depiction of a minor engaged in a sex act. Court documents state that police began investigating Brenke earlier this year, after they were contacted by a parent of a girl under age 18. The parent alerted police that the girl had sent Brenke a nude image and that he had saved it on his phone.
