A Dubuque teen charged with attempted murder recently pleaded guilty to lesser charges. 17 year old Emmanuel Fountain Jr. pleaded guilty in Iowa District Court of Dubuque County to charges of going armed with intent and intimidation with a dangerous weapon. A sentencing hearing is scheduled for June 29th. Fountain faces up to 15 years in prison. Fountain was arrested in late January in connection to a May 13, 2019 shooting near East 18th and White streets. He also faces charges of possessing the drug ecstasy when he was arrested.
