The Iowa Department of Health and Human Services Tuesday confirmed the state’s second case of measles in 2025. The person is a man from Eastern Iowa and is vaccinated against measles. The Iowa HHS says he’s between the age of 18-40. It’s not known if he had traveled prior to the confirmed test. In May, Iowa had its first confirmed case of Measles since 2019. That person was a woman from Central Iowa who was unvaccinated against measles.
