A man faces multiple felony charges after a three-county police chase and an officer-involved shooting that ended in Savanna, IL. The Illinois State Police said 59-year-old Mark Feltmeyer of Freeport, Illinois, was taken into custody on Tuesday. According to a media release, Feltmeyer is charged with Felony possession of a stolen motor vehicle, Three counts of felony criminal damage to government-supported property, Felony criminal damage to property, Felony aggravated fleeing and attempting to elude a peace officer, Two counts of felony aggravated assault- peace officer, Driving while license suspended, and Two counts of resisting or obstructing a police officer. Police said Feltmeyer is in custody at the Stephenson County jail. The investigation is ongoing.
